The Precourt Institute for Energy hosts an array of convenings designed to advance global energy transition. Thought leaders gather to discuss energy transition at the Global, regional, and sector scale.   

Featured Events

Global Energy Forum is the premier energy event at Stanford that brings together a unique delegation of global leaders to wholistically address the challenges of the transforming global energy ecosystem. Hosted by four former United States Secretaries, the gathering offers participants the unique opportunity to engage with world-renowned Stanford energy faculty, students, and innovators who are launching cutting-edge energy technologies. 

Energy Solutions Week - Stanford ENERGY industry partners meet for a week to explore Frontiers in Energy Technology. This by-invitation program analyzes advances in energy research and development across Stanford's core areas and emerging areas of energy research, especially in AI, decarbonization, electric grid, hydrogen, natural gas, energy storage, and sustainable finance. The week-long program highlights pioneering research projects expected to grow into significant research areas at Stanford. Participants engage with dozens of industry executives, Stanford faculty, students, and start-up founders. 

Stanford Energy Innovation Day - Stanford Energy Innovation Day is a one-of-a-kind, by-invitation convening of Stanford's energy technology ecosystem including including venture capital, angel investors, corporate venture, start-ups, and Stanford research faculty. Innovation Day showcases start-up technologies, and features critical dialogues on deploying energy solutions at speed and scale. We hope you will join us for this exciting gathering where you will: Engage with over 300 peers who are advancing energy technology.

Global Energy Dialogues is a virtual series where distinguished global energy thought leaders and world-renowned Stanford faculty address new challenges and unknowns that the world now faces. Global Energy Dialogues are free and open to all.
