Fang Liu

Assistant Professor, Department of Materials Science and Engineering, University of Wisconsin

Dr. Fang Liu is currently an assistant professor in the Department of Materials Science and Engineering at University of Wisconsin – Madison. Between 2019-2022, She was a postdoctoral researcher at Stanford working with Prof. Yi Cui on the lithium metal batteries, fast charging and battery diagnostic tools. She obtained her Ph.D. degree in Chemical Engineering from University of California, Los Angeles in 2018, focusing on the electrochemical reaction mechanisms of Li-S systems. She is the recipient of several awards, including Electrochemical Society (ECS) Young Investigator award in SF section, UCLA Dissertation Year Fellowship, ARCO Fellowship and UCLA Graduate Division Fellowships.
